Well I finally did it. Went to my local gun store and picked up a new CZ75BD in 9mm. I Took the advice of many on this BB. Any advice from CZ owners before I go to the range as this my first semi-auto. Thanks...Rich

You will NOT be disappointed with your selection. :D

Field strip it, learn how it works, clean it and go have some fun.

It should shoot fine from the get go, but like all machines it may need a few hundred rounds to break in properly.

The trigger will get better the more you use it.

Also suggest getting some snap caps and dry fire until the cows come home. It will really improve your accuracy when you get to the range.

Thanks Airwolf... I'm reading the manual now to get familiar with the gun and how to clean and takedown.

Snapcaps, I'll pick some tonight. Thanks...Rich

Love my CZ 75B and CZ 40B. The 75s are incredibly accurate. You'll be very happy. Just shoot the heck out of it, and get some 15 rounders while they're still around.

If so, I think that you will find it to be superlative for that purpose. FYI I have attached a pic of my 85 Combat in its FIST #44 holster. Same holster fits the 75BD as well. Good shooting;)
