How reliable are the full size CZ-75 series and the newer compact P-01's at feeding hollow point ammunition?

I've got about 2k rounds of Speer Gold Dot 124gr and 147gr through my 75B. Another 1500 or so rounds of S&B FMJ. Not a single hiccup. Have only had the pistol since mid-June, but it's been nothing but good so far.

One of the first things that I do to all my pistols, including CZs, is polish the feedramp and chambers. I shoot hollow point ammo in all my CZs and I have never had a jam with any of them. I currently have 17 CZ pistols, including four 75Bs and two P01s.

We have 235 rounds through her RAMI, two jams with CCI Blazer FMJ on second magazine, and no more jams after that, including 29 rounds of 115gr Winchester JHP. More testing as money permits....
I had a CZ 75 Compact years ago, and it never burped once with anything I put through it...

With the P-01 and similarly new CZs, I doubt you'll have any issues with most reasonable ammos, HP or FMJs.

I've never had a round jam in my CZ-75's, whether it was 9mm or .40S&W. For that matter, I've never had a failure of any kind.

The only CZ I've ever had jam is my .40S&W RAMI with WWB ammo. I polished the feed ramp with crocus cloth and jewelers rouge and have had no problems. Both my -75's, my -83, and my PCR will eat anytjing I feed them.

My P-01 functions perfectly with 124gr Speer +P Gold Dots. Excellent combination. Now, when hi-caps are available for the P-01...

Watch for these ProMags: stock # ZMMAG12, with the description of MAG CZ75 COMPACT 40 S&W 10RD BLU, at Natchez Shooter Supply. Will hold 14 rounds of 9mm and they have fuctioned flawlessly in my P-01. All six of them have been perfect.

Hello. I have shot literally thousands of various JHP's (handloads and factory) through a couple of CZ-75's. No problems at all.
Best.

I've had no problem with the Speer 124 gr. +P hollowpoints in my CZ-75B. I'd trust it with my life.

My P-01 has about 500 rounds of JHP's through it. Not a single problem. My 75B has about a box and a half of JHP's through it with no problems either.

My CZ40 came with one bad mag that caused lots of problems. CZ replaced it quickly. With two good mags, and some additional factory mags (for a CZ75-40, they work great) it's been rock-solid with ball, HP, anything. No failures at all.

My PCR 9mm eats everything I've fed it. Approx 800 of all kinds of factory ball & FMJ. It runs as well as any of my SIGs, which is to say, very well, indeed.:D

The only thing I've put through my P-01 at the range is Win. FMJ along with the ammo I carry at work; Federal Premium Personal Defense 124 gr. Hydra-Shok JHP. Never had a misfeed or ejection failure with the P-01 in over 4000 rounds, so I can't comment on that.

Of the 400 or so rounds I've put through mine of Rainier 124 gr HP reloads I haven't had a single hickup on feeding. The crappy followers on my "17 round" ProMags are another story. Took the followers out of my 10 round mags and swapped them and I now have two 100% functional 16 round magazines and two even more worthless 10 round magazines ;)
