Headline: 13 U. S. CITIES UNDER TERRORIST ATTACK!!

300 fast-moving two-man "cells" armed with automatic weapons and RPG's lobbed numerous grenades into downtown buildings and sprayed hundreds of rounds of ammunition at random in 13 cities during the busiest part of this work day.

New York City, Newark NJ, Cleveland OH, Minneapolis MN, Alexandria VA, Tampa FL, Dallas TX, Los Angeles and San Diego CA, Denver CO, Memphis TN, Lizard Lick NC and Secaucus NJ were attacked, apparently in a well-coordinated and timed plan. Authorities are at a loss for the reasoning behind such a shocking event.

First responders were delayed assisting victims due to panic in the streets, vehicles abandoned by fleeing occupants, various fires and secondary explosions.

No arrests have been made of any of the attackers.

[Blah, Blah... you get the idea, right?]

With something like this involved, just what do you think people will do with respect to the various gun laws?

The liars the VPC et al will tell the public that the RPGs are available at gun shows and pawn shops, and use any terrorism to pass so many laws that you'll need a background check to buy a supersoaker.

Martial Law.

All firearms will be seized from everyone.

It just goes downhill from there.

Now if this was Switzerland(sp):

All men will grab their fully auto "assault weapons"

Sweden kicks some major terrorist butt.

As far as that Kerry creature and the rest of the leftist extremists would be concerned, such attacks would be proof positive we need stronger—much stronger!—leftist extremist so-called "gun control" laws to prevent further attacks.

If terrorists ran around using full-auto rifles and explosives, there would be a big push by the antis for a handgun ban.

No doubt Bush and the other Republicans would finally decide to repeal some gun laws.

I would be shocked if they departed from their high-value use of explosives.

Much more bang for the buck and allows them the chance to do it again.

I'm hoping that the the fed.gov added the E in BATFE because they understand that a nation full of rifleman have nothing to fear from a handful of armed thugs. A handful of thugs armed with C-4 is a different matter.

Now if they would only take out the AT & F.

There would probably be an interesting body count in Alexandria, Tampa, Dallas, and Memphis. Elseware, lots of civilian deaths...

I was beginning to believe that no one was serious.

So the answer to the question... is what?

For my part - I suspect that when simple folks find out that first responders are responding elsewhere they'll be looking to provide their own protection.

You remember the movie Independence Day with Will Smith? When the aliens invaded, all of the south central LA gang bangers started shooting their tec-9s and ak knock offs at the alien ship... I'd imagine it would look something like that in the more crime-ridden areas of the US. Noone likes a terrorist.
