DSA FAL Group Buy...

OK, I tried to negotiate a special rate with the owner that would let me do these REAL cheap. But it seems not only was he unable to offer volume discounts, I learned that they will soon be out of Stg58 versions and will be raising costs of the SA58 versions.
Well I hate to see anyone miss out. Personal interest aside, I think these are the best deal on a .308 today. God that sounds like a car sales man.
Anyway, I will do this if it flys.
Stg58 Rifles $900 + $35.00 (s/h/ins)
Stg58 Carbines $950.00 + $35.00 (s/h/ins)
Options: Type I or II receiver. With or without carry handle cut (If you want no carry handle cut you can only get the Type I).
Come standard with hard case, manual, 20 round mag and lifetime warranty.

I would need at least 10 on board to make this happen.
For Kali residents, I have been told that it is legal to ship a FAL with NO mag and without a pistol grip. I'd be more than happy to accomodate you guys behind the lines if I could get some form of documentation to that effect.

As much as I would love to see the brethren here in occupied territories get a hold of these fantastic weapons, I suggest you not take the chance of getting yourself labeled a gun trafficker by the Red Square directorate we call the DOJ.
It would have been nice though.

Here in Kali, Entreprise arms has been selling their Stg58s in CA without the mag and the pistol grip. Robinson Arms is selling their M96 without mag and pistol grip. I have personally seen a HK clone at a local gun show being sold without the mag and the pistol grip. I would love to have an FAL, but I don't see the use of FAL type rifles without the pistol grip. Dangit, I gotta stop looking at FAL rifles.

Dave Renn, oh yeah.
The details. I'm gonna leave this open for about 30 days. Then if I have enough interested parties (10 or more) I will post payment /contact information.
But basically I will take checks, money orders and can do credit cards at 3%.

$900 hmmm. I am able to get the STG58A for $795 plus $15 for shipping. So they are running out are they. Hmm maybe it's time to pick up another one. They are sweet rifles. Get's a lot of attention at the range. They are elegant weapons for a more civilized time.

I am interested in one of the carbines depending on how much lead time I have to get the money together.

Billy, gonna leave the topics up for about 30 days to see if we get 10 people. Then if we do I would want to place the order within 10 days. So that gives you a basic time frame.

I'm be very interested, providing I could find an FFL in my area willing to do the transfer for a reasonable amount.

OK currently we have 8 confirmed and a handful of "maybes."
Only Billy Sparks is a confrimed from this board. If you want to upgrade from "maybe" to 100% in please IM or email me.
Like I said I'm gonna leave this up for awhile to let people get their funds in order (approx. 30 days). Say March 14 will be D Day to start the ball rolling.
I'm not gonna collect money or FFLs until that date (March 14).
Also I don't have a network of FFLs I work with. If you don't have a FFL that you buy from locally a week prior to March 14 email me and I will try and find a local FFL for you. Be more than happy to do that for anyone.
Until that time, we have 8, looking for 2 more and that is the update.

I would do it if I could find a Kali Dealer in the central coast area to handle the gun less the pistol grip and mag. Anybody no of a Brave dealer in the Bay area?

OK, we got 10. Like I said I'll start the collection process in about a month (March 14). I'm still willing to ship minus pistol grip and mag to Kali but I need a copy of the regs.

Frohickey, I've seen that defenition.
What I was hoping for is some kind of compliance letter that states FALs are Kali OK without a pistol grip and high cap.
Maybe even a letter from the receiving FFL stating that he could legally receive them in that configuration would do. Just trying to cover my rear end.

Just spoke with someone at Enterprise Arms, they sell FAL receivers too. (626)-962-8712
I asked him if FAL receivers are legal for sale in California, and he said that they are. I then asked if they have a letter from the CA-DOJ about this, and he said to call back and ask for Lawrence, and he can dig it out, and hopefully fax it to people.
Wouldn't DSA also have this CA-DOJ correspondence too?

Why now?:(
Right as I'm getting ready to go on vacation!!:D
If this offer came along or happens to come along again in May or June you would already have my money!

JeepDriver, doing this now because at the Shot Show David of DSArms advised me that they won't be doing the Stg58 series much longer as suitable Steyr parts are running dry.
After that is will be the SA58s only which I think DSA prefers.
