Anyone a legal expert in Nebraska? I have found myself in here through no fault of my own.. While I am a permit holder NE does not recongnize a permit from FL (or anywhere for that matter.) Though the bill is brought forward every year it is subsequently filibustered by the same guy every year. Here's the question- In NE the law reads that while you may open carry (anywhere but Omaha) you can't conceal a weapon.

However the affirmative defence to the no conceal bit is in a situation where a reasonable person would justifiably carry a concealed weapon.

Violation is considered a misdimeanor.

Any thoughts on this???

Best advise I can give you, is to go to packing.org and poke around if you haven't been there already.

Ernie Chambers. CCW is DOA in NE.
