Anyone own a bowenknife belt? Just curious, I saw this and was curious if anyone owns one or wears one.

I had one for a while and have handled a number of others. They're well made. I didn't find mine as convenient, or comfortable to use, as a conventional folding knife. Plus, to use the knife you have to essentially unbuckle your belt. If your pants are too loose or you are using the belt to support a handgun that can be a problem.

that is exactly what I was figuring. It looks very akward to me. It doesn't look very gun friendly the way you have to pull the buckle off. Ty's for replying, you answer'd my question.

The draw of a Bowen is faster than you might suspect, and it could be a last-ditch backup for a cop or an armed civilian. Perversely, the single edged model is legal in some parts of Texas (San Antonio) where a Spyderco Delica is illegal to carry!
