Been bored with the gamit of guns. Handloading has gotten tiresome.
.30 and .223 are old news. So is 50 BMG and the rest of my stuff.
Found myself making a smiley face on the pistol target the other day I was so bored.

But thanks to the chatter here lately on the 6.5 x 55, my old Mausers came to mind. Long since tucked away in the safes.
I have dies but never loaded for them.

I didn't want to deal with the Mausers so I went and bought a CZ 550 American in 6.5x55.
I gotta say I haven't been this excited in a while.
Beautiful rifle. great stock, fits real nice, set trigger, good deep blueing all for under 500 bucks out the door.

I told my secretary to hold my calls today and pulled out the gun vise and mounted a Nikon scope and cleaned up the bore with JB's paste.

After I got done I wanted to take the thing out into the yard and fire off a few rounds.

When my secretary came in a couple of hours later and saw me bore siting the scope she remarked, oh God, not another one and put a stack of messages on my desk and left.

Can't wait till the weekend to try it out.

Thanks for pullin me outta a slump guys.
