Has anyone used a BK&T Combat/Utility knife?
Camillus produces them, I think.
Gun Parts has a sale on them in the latest Shotgun News.
I am considering buying a large knife and would like some info on this one.

I have one. It's my car knife (actually van). Have it in the door pocket where I can reach it. Do a search - they've been discussed favorably before. It has the sharpest factory blade I've ever seen. Extremely rugged. The only thing I did to improve mine was to dip the handle in a can of liquid-rubber designed for giving a better grip (for tools & stuff).

I've handled hundreds of knives and own several BK&T pieces. The CUK is a good product, especially for the money.

I got one a couple a months ago but I haven't gotten to play with it much. It is at home and i am not.
Anyhow, I used it to split firewood for a while and it was still sharp enough to shave the hair off my arm. The handle seemed pretty comfortable; not even the slightest hint of blisters forming after I finished using it.
The only gripe I have is the sheath. It is pretty well made and it does work but it just doesn't seem heavy enough for the knife. I also thought a couple times that it might be possible to miss the kydex liner when you put the knife in the sheath. That is one thing that I'm a little careful with anyhow.
Still though, for the $50 you get a knife that will most likely outlive your grandchildren.
The other thing about my Becker though...
Now I want a Brute to go along with it.
