The time is 1300 hours on the East Coast. Most of us above North Carolina have at a minimum 6 inches of ice and/or
snow on the ground. Our world is going to perdition on the express elevator with the likes of Sadaam showing us the sausage and eggs, Kim Jog Il glowering at us from that pudgy, pasty, inbred face crowned with Harry Caryesq glasses,
the French ready to surrender to EVERY PERSON ON THE PLANET BUT US as they tear apart NATO and coveniently forget that they are not the southernmost Germanic states largely because of our blood and sacrifice, Islamo-fascists running roughshod over the Earth causing mayhem,
death and destruction, a United Nations that keeps it's word about as well as your alcoholic brother-in-law, liberal politicians that are not satisfied with redistributing my wealth through the IRS
and Social Welfare System, They also want to eliminate my ability to defend myself from it being taken forcibly from me by eliminating my right to possess firearms, Korean subway fires, Chicago club tramplings and on and on....and what leads the news this hour??? Lacy Peterson.

She's that lady from Kalifornia who was about 8 months pregnant when she disappeared - and it turns out her husband was having an affair. So I guess she is due anytime. But sadly, I don't really think anyone is planning on finding her and her child alive.:(

But you are right, the media just whips these things up into a frenzy. Although, the media probably wouldn't do it if these bottom feeders wouldn't watch/read it. And that is exactly what they and all of their reality tv counterparts are - is nothing but a bunch of bottom feeders.

I gave up on watching TV news about 2 weeks after 9/11.

90% of it is sensationalized garbage designed to keep the Proletariat whipped up and distracted.

The last time I tuned in was the afternoon of 2/1 after reading about the Columbia breakup here. I watched the first news conference on NASA Select and then a few minutes of Fox News for the video. That’s it.

I’ll take sources from the Internet for more variety, depth and mutiple points-of-view to get my information of what’s going on in the world over ratings and personality driven TV anytime.
