I had a great morning at the Dixie Gun & Knife Classic at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. This is a good-sized show, held about every 3 months. I went in looking for a Makarov, and went straight for my old favorite vendor, Classic Arms. I bought my CZ-52 from them about a year and a half ago, and they came through again. Got a Bulgarian Makarov, 1982 manufacture, excellent condition, for $149. The best price AND the best condition guns out of any of the Makarovs for sale there.

This is only my second gun, my first carry gun. It came with all the regular accessories, i.e., military-style holster, extra mag, cleaning rod, and both the red and black grips. There is practically no visible finish wear, and the barrel looks either new or recently refurb'd. I'm very pleased.
I also picked up a cheap and temporary vinyl reversible IWB/OWB holster, 100 rds of 9x18 for my first range trip with the Mak, a 3" folding knife, a small Leatherman-type tool, and a kubotan keychain.

Oh, for all you CZ-52 fans, the vendor that I got the Mak from, also the one I got my CZ from, had at least 8 or 9 '52's for sale. Most the standard parkerized, but one that they had just finished re-finishing in nickel, it was absolutely gorgeous, I told the guy that if they bring another like that to the next show I'll take it off their hands. They were charging $119 for the regular CZ's, $179 for the nickel one. Sorry, no pics of that beautiful CZ (gun show), but here's some pics of my new acquisitions:

Excellent choice. I think you'll find it surprisingly accurate and exceptionally reliable.

That looks like a number 6 rear sight.
You may find it shoots a bit high. That's normal. I think they claim they are sighted in for 50 meters but mostly they even shoot high at that range.

This is one of my Maks (with the #6 sight) at 48 yards.

The target is 11X8 inch paper and I was aiming at the square below the target.:)

They are pretty accurate pistols and as reliable a semi auto as you will find at any price.

I found my Makarov very accurate and right on POA, here are the targets:
