Hi all.

I got mauled by the 1911 beast (forget the bug! :D ) and am looking for another fix.

What are my options for a 10mm 1911-pattern pistol in CA?

Other than lucking out like nobody's business and scoring a Delta Elite. :)

I think you answered your own question.

BTW, I lucked out. The Delta Elite that I found earlier this year was not only in California, but the seller was also in the same city as me. I paid $700. I then had John Jardine work his magic on it to arrive at what you see below:

man, that is a badass 10mm. What extra did you have done to it? How much money did it cost?

Ed Brown Tactical Ambidextrous safety (stainless)
Ed Brown Memory Groove Beavertail grip safety (stainless)
Wilson Commander-style hammer (stainless)
Magazine release with oversize button
Ed Brown flat and 20-lpi checkered mainspring housing
Ed Brown National Match trigger w/trigger job (3.5lbs)
Refinish (polish and bead-blast)

If so you may want to consider a Razorback. Mines a hoot!
