Hello Everyone... I have a late 50's Colt Detective Special snubby and would like to find a hammer shroud to allow snag free draws from pocket or around clothing. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to find the add on part for this model? Do the add on's mount solid & work well for this model? I look forward to your reply.

I bought my 50's era Colt Agent, as a police trade-in in the early '80's. It came with a hammer shroud just like those from Waller.

They work in spectacular fashion. I've never removed mine. Never will. :cool:

Too bad they don't make them for the Ruger SP101. I know, you can get a bobbed hammer for the SP. But I just like the idea of a cockable hammer within a snag resistant enclosure.
