I've got a Savage 112 Weather Master with the muzzle break you can turn on and off. I like it. It can probably shoot better if someone else shot it. I'm just wondering about a few things. The gun is 4 years old. I know it is free-floated b/c I can run a dollar under the barrel all the way to the action. I'm wondering how the action is bedded and what the actual length is. It says it is 24" on the web site, but it doesn't look that long. It's a 7mm Rem Mag.

A tape measure can answer one of the questions . As for the bedding , I'm not a Savage specialist but it may have a aluminum bar that it bolts to . Open it up and look , pay some mind to how much torque it tarks to loosen the bolts .
