And will this interfere with my revolver? Will it make cleanup harder? What is the point of having HP's filled with wax, unless its a garlic/silver liquid and you are vampire hunting? (;))

You should find that cleanup is a lot less frequent.

Actually I was just about to make a post about CCI Mini Mags having hollow points, I never noticed it!
Regarding cleanliness of the Mini-mags, that's all I shoot out of my Marvel .22 1911, and after about 600 rds, I finally started experiencing a LOT of FTF's today while at the range..
Its not all THAT clean shooting ammo IMO, but it was the ammo my gun liked.
Now I gotta figure out whether it was the gun being dirty that caused all those malfuctions or not...
The CCI mini mags, they dont feel nearly as lubed, if lubed at all than the Wolf .22's that i tried once. Those suckers will slip outta your hand if not possible. Felt like it was coated with vaseline or something. :D

The lubricant picks up small pieces of pocket lint. These have the effect of a cleaning patch when you fire the gun.
The scrubbing action of all those small patches helps to keep the 22 bore clean!

The lube on the outside of CCI and all other .22 RF cartridges is a leftover from the days of outside-lubricated lead bullets. It is, I think the sole survivor of this old system in regular production. The .22 RF is also one of the few survivors of the "heeled" bullet, where the outside of the slug is full diameter and a smaller shank of less than groove size fits inside the case (that also gives rise to the need for outside lubrication).
