Several hundred rounds through it with no problems to date. The extra weight sure makes it a smoother shooter than my standard SIG. Enjoy! Good shooting;)

Words cannot express how excited I am. This is my first new gun, so I will baby it. I also have an HK USP 9mm...I already like the sig so much more:)

Welcome to the ST collective!

IMHO, my 220ST is the softest-shooting, most accurate, and prettiest DA .45acp pistol available. Shoot the heck out of it, and enjoy!

Kaxter, Cograts on a very sharp pistol. Be careful though Sigs can tend to get a little
addicting.

How's the double action trigger pull? A rental P220 that I've recently shot had the nicest double action pull on any semiauto I've tried (not that I've tried a whole heckuva alot), and I'm wondering if that was a trend.

The classic SIG P-series pistols have good triggers fresh from the factory. SIG triggers tend to mellow and break-in with use....you can usually tell a big difference after the first 1000 rounds. My 220ST has the sweetest DA trigger of all my DA pistols--including HKs, CZs, SIGs. I thought my vintage 220s had great triggers, until I got the ST. It seems the 220s are more consistent as far as good triggers are concerned. I've fired some P228s, 229s, and 226s, with varied trigger quality.

I just got mine Wednsday.Funny how i bargained for it though.....
i saw at a gun dealer's shop up here in Baltimore,Md. for $720 for a " Factory Refurbished " one.I called 4 other stores to see if they had one for less. One store said they would sell me one for $640.Two weeks later they still were not able to get me one.Their distributor had none in stock, just p229 in .40 cal..But i held out,i insisted on the-one-and-only legendary " P220 ".
So three weeks later i went back to the original store and paid $700 plus tax and state police title fee,an extra $45 dollars.

My stainless steel beauty looks and feels brand-new !
All the parts appear new,the mags., new,and not a scratch or blemish on any part, interior or exterior.

She feels great in my hand, and i'm sure the extra weight will help with my hot plus +p loads that i'll be shooting.

They say that Speer Gold Dots 200 grain +P's are the way to go for my 4.5 inch barrel.Powerful enough to blow the eyes out of a Cow's head when fired between the eyes.

My beautiful pet Sig ! She cost me alot of money ,but, then again, the best is ALWAYS worth it !

Sorry....i forgot to add that i find my DA pull i little on the stiff/heavy side.
This is probably because it's been reconditioned, and maybe TOO much.
But like the posters say,it will sweeten-up as i use and practice with it.
My gun comes in a Red plastic case, probably because it's a Refurbished one.
B.T.W. I like the " Uncle Mike's " Kydex Holster for this P220 model.And it's only $15.00 dollars.
The " MidwayU.S.A. " website has great prices with low Shipping and Handleing fees to-boot.

Happy Shooting and Tight Grouping !
