I understand that the metal insert on the butt stock is used to dis assemble the bolt.
Can anyone explain how?
Thanks!

To get the bolt apart, start with the bolt cocked in battery and put the safety in the 'up' position. Withdraw the bolt from the rifle, push the little button on the bolt sleeve and unscrew it from the back of the bolt. What you have left is your bolt sleeve, safety, and cocking piece still together. Put the firing pin in the stock hole, the shoulders of the fring pin will catch on the metal ring. Push down on the bolt sleeve to compress the firing pin spring until the safety clears the back of the back of the bolt sleeve- turn the safety 90 degrees and it should come free of the firing pin, carefully decompress the spring and remove the firing pin.
