Anyone else yearning for one of these MRP uppers? It's from LMT. An AR-15 upper integrated with the rails and quick-change freefloat barrels...

Zak Smith, you already appear to have one, given all the pics on your website! How about a mini-review if you have the time?

The only downside..it costs around $1200 for the carbine version, and more for the full rifle version.

Wow, this makes two upper recievers I've seen with quick change uppers for the AR-15. The first was even more interesting, it used stock ar barrels. It had two throw levers on the right side, flip them, pull out the barrel, put in a new barrel and close the levers was all that was needed for a swap. I seem to remember seeing it on one of the gun auction sites, for around $1200.

Also, what type of grip is that in the first picture? Looks pretty comfortable, any idea on who makes it and if it comes in black?

Thanks for the link 762, but I actually found out the website I'm buying a flat top AR upper from sells them for around $25.
