Are firearms allowed in NH State Parks?

Heading up to Mt. Monadnock to do a little hikingg thhis weekend and wated to know if I can legally carry in a State Park? I look on packing.org and the NH AG sites and couldn't find anything either way:confused:

Packing.org says "yes", but I wouldn't know where to get that verified.

I called the Permit and Lic. depart, they gave me the number for Park and Rec. Park The lady at Park & Rec said " If you have a valid permit we can't stop you from carring" :rolleyes:

Not " Yes, we respect your rights as a law abbiding citizen"

Oh, well I guess it's better than "No, you'll shoot you eye out, and what about the kids"
