Hiliary, on meet the press today after pushing support for the assault weapons ban renewal, indicating a potential blood bath for cops if its not renewed, dodging the question whether she still supports national gun licensing, stated she supports the second amendment.
There you have it folks.
Pigs do fly.
Unfortunatly they are all grounded at the moment.
Excuse me while I rid myself of breakfast.

Even Sarah Brady "supports" the 2nd Amendment. I think the common term used to describe this support is "lip service."

Problem is in their interpretation: Yeah, the militia can own guns, but the militia is really the National Guard.
In their world view, any old law based on opinion polls supercedes the Constitution. It's for the children.
This thread' subject ain't really worth "discussing", but I'll let it run for a while. Don't run out of barfies...:)

They ALL support the 2nd Amendment. The questioning has to be more focused to discover what they really think, and that might be viewed as the press being agressive.

What Eatman said.
First, let's suppose a Democrat actually did support the 2A. If elected to national office, that Democrat is embedded in a system run by the parties. And the Democrat party has, for a couple decades, been
(A) hostile to the real meaning of 2A (the people have an individual right to pack, which will be off limits to ANY restriction) and
(B) in love with the U.N. which is a collection of mostly tinhorn dictatorships hostile to libery in any form.

Spiders support landing strips for flys also !
Hilary just thinks it's better for her political ambitions to lie a little. Garsh - that's a novel idea for a politician !!

With the hideous, grating, cackle of hers that she, all too frequently, inserts at the most inappropirate times, she'll NEVER be without a job. She can always hire out as a halloween haint! No mask needed either.

Of course, this revelation comes after she bought a handgun in New York City without any political favoritism or consideration.

Let's not get carried away. There are national Democrats out there that are far preferable to some of the Republicans in office. For instance, OK has Republican Senators and all Republican representatives EXCEPT for one Democrat, Brad Carson. Carson has come out and publically said all the right things about gun owners ever since he was elected. I wasn't thrilled when he took over the formerly Republican seat but I can't honestly complain about one of his gun votes. He has sent me letters several times saying that he was totally against a renewal of the AWB.
My only problem with Carson is that he has now decided to run for our open Senate seat. And that puts him against Dr. Coburn. And Dr. Coburn is one of the best political leaders OK has ever had. It wouldn't kill me if Carson won (compared to some other Democrat) but I'm hoping Coburn will win.
Let's know our enemies by how they actually vote not by what party they belong to. (Which is exactly how I would urge people to look at Kerry. Don't get distracted by all the pretty colors; just look at the man's voting record in the Senate. That's literally all you have to know.)

Why of course she supports the 2nd! You will be allowed to own a shotgun. (None of these nasty handguns or rifles!) The shotgun will have to be kept in a government operated armory. You will be permitted to visit it twice per year, primarily as a means of keeping an eye on you. You will not be allowed to actually USE it for any such coarse purpose as hunting, but you CAN actually hold it for about 30 minutes or so. Should you not show up on the appointed date, it will be destroyed.
FWIW,

P.S. Remember that she leads a sheltered existence. I recall having heard that she refused an opportunity to testdrive a minivan last year. It seems that her Highness hadn't actually driven a vehicle on her own for over 8 years, and was nervous about her abilities behind the wheel.

Shillary also mentioned on two different TV programs about the "political realities" of gun control, which she means is there is currently too much effective opposition to licensing and registration.
And, that means she has not changed her mind or attitude about guns and gun owners. It just the timing is not right. Her husband said basically the same thing some years ago to Charlie Gibson on Good Morning America.
That woman is enough to make a maggot gag.

I looked for a 'smilie' with a tongue-in-cheek face. I was unable to find one.
Really, if hilary were to choose to buy a handgun in NYC, you can bet your next handgun purchase there would be no bureaucratic delays in approving her purchase.

Hillary also supports Freedom of the Press - as proof, she agrees that the Government Printing Office is free to print whatever it wants. (With Congressional approval, of course.)

Whenever a liberal says they support the 2nd Amendment, you need to remind yourself that their definition of the 2nd Amendment is different than yours (and the Founding Fathers).
I mean, if they can't even figure out what the meaning of the word 'IS' is...

[liberal voice on] Just remember that the constitution is a "living" document. What is written down there really has little to do with what it means today. The founding fathers had no idea what society would be like today and would never have envisioned commoners actually being allowed to own guns. [liberal voice off].

I have been Googling to try to verify this. Inquiring minds want to know.

God, I'd LOVE to have substantiation that Shrillary was a gun owner! Oh, the horror! Oh, the hypocrisy!

Inalienable rights don't need to be supported. They are incapable of being given up, taken away, or transferred to another.
