Will a new production Saiga in 7.62x39 by EAA|Izhmash accept hi-cap magazines?
Does anyone have one of these? How do you like it? How much did you pay?
Strictly as a functioning weapon, how does it stack up against a milsurp AK?

Much nicer than a Milsurp AK....no it will not accept high cap ak mags without a mod.>>>be sure to get the parts count correct.

I wanna know where you guys are getting milsurp AK's.
Traded a 10 lb Hershey bar once for three milsurp AK47's and a bunch of ammo.

its easy job to convert saiga to ak.
drill,dremel,hammer,pin punch,screw driver,file.
$50-$100 for tapco parts kit or another US mfg trigger group$50 unless you want adjustable trigger. dragunov stock+handguards for another $50. ditch the old handguard need new gas tube $10-$20,lower handguard retainer $5-$10,$1 for piece of pipe to make bullet guide. couple hours work total at most. can come out spending less than $350.
love my saiga 7.62 and 223 using ak74 bakelites with robarm follower.
moving on to AR15 project.
