Has anyone fitted the Williams peep site for muzzleloaders as advertised in Cabelas catalog? I have a CVA hunterbolt in need of better sights. Does the williams sight mount in the scope mount holes or replace the prior rear sight. Does it need a taller front sight? If so what height did you use and what brand did you mount. Advice wanted.
Thanks,
Lou

I have said Williams sight on my Omega, and I love it. I tried two different scopes on that gun, but I kept getting touched by the scope during recoil. Back to the Williams, and my group size actually shrank some. (No flinchies)
My sight fit into the holes on the barrel where the scope base would be mounted, and I actually had to cut my front sight down a little, which worked out well as it gave me a nice square post to look at thruogh the aperature.
