My sponsor has secured the same facility again for another day of defensive knife training in NYC.
This class will concentate on unarmed defensive startle responses against a knife attack most of the day. I feel the unarmed responses to a surprise attack with a knife are key to ones initially surviving the first second of the attack. Along the same lines, I will be covering several ways to escape being held as a hostage with a knife that was briefly touched upon in our last class.
We also plan to cover some folding defensive knife against a knife as well later in the afternoon and, like our first class a few months ago, time will be alotted for those who have specific questions they want addressed as well.
