Desantis ankle mag pouch

Wondered if anyone has used the Desantis neoprene double mag pouch for the ankle? Thinking of getting one to carry a spare mag and spare knife in. What size mags fit in it ? Does the mags dig into your leg ? Most of the time would have a officers 45 mag or a mag for a PM9. My spare knife would be a Camillus Heat. Any opions from the experts would be appreciated Thanks

Never tried it but I do like ankle for a spare mag....galco makes one that is a bit more versatile....has some bigger pouches on either side of the mag slot so you can put cuffs, a wallet, cell phone, knife, whatever....I think it's called the ankle safe....my only concern with these is that the mag is open top and it looks like the base plate could be a problem if it rubs against your leg...that is the only thing that has kept me from buying one...but at 30 bucks, I may give it a try and maybe sew a flap over the mag if need be...
