Rattlin' noise in my Taurus?

Guys,
I have a Taurus Titaium Tracker .357 that makes a clicking sound when I make a fanning movement going left to right with it. This occurs even when it is unloaded. Should I be concerned? Should I have a smith look at it or pull the grips off myself (I have never taken the grips off of any of my revos)? This gun is an excellent shooter.

"Broken transfer bar."
I have to admit I was going to suggest checking the exhaust system hangers. It's obvious I've been around the Roundtable too long now.
Probably is the transfer bar. Other things that might rattle will rattle when the gun is shaken in all directions, not just in that specific side-to-side direction.

I had a Taurus 85 that did the exact same thing.....never did have a problem with it.

I owned a Taurus mod 85 and mod 605. Both made faint clicking or rattling noises when waved from side to side. Probably your free-floating transfer bar. Don't sweat it. (They ARE good shooters aren't they??)

I can actually see my transfer bar moving and making the sound in my 669. It's very faint. Certainly not like the rattle-traps they use in movie "foley" effects to go along with the sound of cops cocking the hammers on their Glocks ;)

Tauruses are made to rattle so they can keep the beat when you dance the samba.

Yep
All 3 of my 85s have the rattle. It's the transfer bar.
If you want to be sure, cock the unloaded gun. Hold it wit your right hand and use your left thumb to press down on the transfer bar against the firing pin and shake the gun while holding it that way. The rattle should stop

When I bought a new Taurus 431 it did the same thing. Took it back to the store and the owner pulled out several other Taurus and S&W new revolvers and they all did the same thing. If it is shooting fine then it is not broken.

That's the funniest thing I've read in a while. Actually, I've been dancing the salsa with my Taurus.
