I'll bet that this has gone around before, but considering that Congress will still have four days to act once they are back in session before the AWB expires, I thought that it is appropriate to bring this up again.
Here are two petitions that I'm aware of, and have signed, requesting that the President and Congress not renew the so-called Assault Weapons Ban. If you haven't signed both of them already, please consider doing so:

Reject Renewal of Feinstein-Schumer Gun-Control Act (http://patriotpetitions.us/nogunban/)
Even if the AWB does expire, having these petitions in place with a lot of signatures can be helpful to resist any further attempts to pass a new one later.
