Can you all point me to some different options for handgun safes? I don't want to buy another big floor safe but need something for handguns. I also want something that can be affixed, I see no reason to lock up handguns in a safe just to have someone take the safe.

Here's what I use...

The largest model. It's gonna take 2 or 3 man to carry it off, and it can be bolted to the floor.

My wife and I use a double gun vault from www.gunvault.com (http://www.gunvault.com ). It can be bolted down and works pretty good for us.

Go to walmart.com and search for DAC Sportsafe. It sells for about $70. This is the 2nd small safe I have owned and I am satisfied with it. Oops-- this would be too small for you.

The store had the H8 on display and had a price tag of around $500. This store is known for high prices so you could probably find much better prices.

If you have a Harbor Freight Tools store near you the following safe can be had at their brick and mortar stores for $79.99. The website has it at $99.99 currently. I just got my local store's sale flyer today.
