Combat Commander--series 80
The plunger just bearly clears the firing pin before the hammer drops. I would like for it to clear sooner, maybe as soon as slack is taken out of the trigger. Would this be O.K.?
I have heard that you can get different levers to change the timing and I have heard about bending the lever. How about swaging the contact points of the lever?
Brownell's only list one part in their list. How can I get different levers from Colt?
THANKS
Ken

Howdy Ken,

Since your system is just a tad on the slow side, but still workin'...Try Colt's
customer service number and ask for Cindy. She's about the easiest to deal with, and a pure delight to talk to. If your upper lever...the plunger lever has a "1" stamped on it, ask for the #2 lever. It shouldn't cost more than 5 or 6 bucks, and she may send it for nuttin'.

I don't have any more #2 levers layin' around, or I'd mail one to ya.

You can get the toll-free to customer service on Colt's web site.

Luck to ya!
