LOL That particular one is in the custody of UPS at the moment. Traditions/Pietta is getting that one back. They "THINK" they can "FIX" it... we shall see how the dust settles on this one.Ratdog68 !
Nice background for the picture too .
They are pretty revolvers huh . Good shooters too , can reach out and touch ya real well . They love Hornady .454's too .

I think it means that we've become a senior member when our jokes get old. I attained that a while back. Seriously... your post count passed "100"... that probably did it.now I am senior member ? I could make a joke here , or just read my mind .
I must have posted allot to become a senior member , I wonder if that's a record here ? I doubt it .

LOL From what I can see... they used a 5/8" wide belt sander to dress the casting slag off the side of the frame... and... someone wasn't paying attention to what they were doin' and "slipped" and cut just a little too deep (1/32") where the back strap meets up to the rest of the frame. Then... they used their dividers to measure over to the "other side" and cut the backstrap on a different plane than the lay of the hammer along the barrel. As a result... the right grip has more meat hanging off the side of the frame than does the left side... and there's a 1/32" gap that's 5/8" long on the left side... allowing you to see daylight through between the grip/frame. I sent 'em these pix... they think they can "fix it".I hope they do or send ya another . It must have been pretty bad to have to send it back , Traditions , I steer away from that company whenever possible .
I had two Tradations 51's nickeled 44's , incorrect caliber, but both broke, the arbor shot loose on both and I never loaded mroe than 17 gr. in either , worked up from 12 gr.
I had the darndest time with that company getting them to send me something back or replacing them . Finally after three months of phone beatings they finally submitted to my awsome mouth abuse and sent me two nickeled 1860's Sherrif models with steel frames . Problem solved . Never again . They told me they no longer made the 51's so were sending 60's? Liers . I told them they don't make them anyway , so don;t insult my intellegence , what little I have that tis
Good luck , what was wrong with it ?

Hmmmm... m'be... not sure whether I did or not. LOL Yeah... m'be, IF they braze some brass onto the left side and then reshape it, blend it and polish it smooth it'll "appear" "right". All I gotta say is... it'd better BE "right" when I get it back or they're gonna be none too pleased with my response. I purchased three guns from them in ONE order (this is one of them)... I deserve a fair shake by 'em.thats pretty ugly .
Fix it they say huh ?
Uhh huh , sure they can , wheres my hammer !
Give ya new one and start over, melt that one , aint no way they can fix it , right , they already took off too much metal .
Makes mine I built look excellent , thanks , hee hee hee .
I hope they do ya right though , fingers crossed here . Did you write down the seriel number to see if it comes back the same gun .
