Picked this guy up on Wednesday...700 bucks, its the S&W M&P 15 Sport model...basically just lacks the breach dust cover and forward assist...otherwise its a fantastic rifle! Already put 600 rounds through it, put a Sight Mark dot scope on it, and just got quad rails in the mail! Next step is a magpul grip i think? Just thought i would share!

Yeah pretty stoked..was looking at more expensive sights that were 300-400 price range, but that sight mark surprised me and is very consistant and accurate. As far as the quad rail, i went with a UTG from Midway...they have em for 10% off so figured it would be just fine!

I've had that model M&P15 for 3 years and 2000 rounds. It is a solid AR. It is rather accurate for a chrome lined barrel. Mine no longer looks like that.

good buy.

yes even since i posted this the new quads are on...updated pics ;)

Might want to avoid taking pics with your checkbook up close and personal and posting them on the internet...

I agree ... There's no cure for the Black Rifle Purchasing (BRP) disease ... you are warned.
Congrats for seeding your home with the first black rifle!

Now shoot the <deleted> out of it a enjoy it. You bought, what in my opinion is one of the best and most underrated Black Rifles in the business. It will serve you well. I love my M&P 15, it is my go to rifle. I love my CMMG & DD V4, but I usually grab the Smith when I go shooting.
