I would also welcome the opportunity to change my current NRA membership to a lifetime membership. I just donated $100 to the ILA but I don't think that's enough given today's environment. Merry Christmas to all THR members

Are there any special deals on Endowment, Patron and Benefactor Memberships?

I can now be counted among the NRA Life Members -- thanks to PT92 and longknife12 for providing their info!

FYI: I waited on hold over 30 minutes to speak to someone; it didn't bother me at all -- I hope that is a VERY good sign, in fact!

I don't agree with some of what was said today from the NRA, but I can get behind the majority of their plans, and that's good enough for me.

I too would llike to become a life member, if anyone can PM the info, I would be eternally grateful.

I'll be more then happy to step up to the plate and upgrade my menbership.

I upgraded from Life to Endowment for $250 earlier this year. They send out the offer every spring just before the NRA Annual Meeting. It also gave me better seating at the Annual Meeting events.

Hey everyone! I haven't been on THR all year. I volunteered the last 3 years for this, and I sure as heck will do whatever I can in a time like this. Is the $300 deal being sponsored over the phone this time? That's a LOT easier than the past where I had everyone mail me checks.

Is there anything I can do to help on THR?

Is the 9 pm cutoff for the NRA phone system, or for the $300 life membership deal? I have about 2.5 years left on my latest 3 year membership, but if the $300 life membership opportunity is still available, I think this would be the perfect time for me to take the plunge.

9 pm is the call-in time for member services - the $300 deal has not been discontinued - don't know that it ever will be.

Call 'em, folks - some folks need to understand that there's a LOT of us out here that care, vote - and WILL NEVER FORGET.

New LifeTime Member!

OK after calling 7 times between last night and today I finally got a lady to sign me up! Once I received my membership number and paid we started to talk a bit for a few minutes. I mentioned to her that I had called 6 times prior to this call and had been told on each call that the sponsor had to call in for sign someone up. She couldn't believe this and wanted a bit more information regarding times and if I remembered any of the peoples names who told me this. I supplied her with rough times and 4 of the names I had written down. She said she was going to take that information to her supervisor and figured that all the call center agents would be updated about this program. Hopefully this works for others who will be calling in!

btw.. thanks to PT92 for his info and I was asked to say thank you on behalf of the NRA for sponsoring others in.
