To celebrate Christmas this year the revolver side of the family decided to get together for a family photo.

Smith and Wesson on the left. Colt on the right. Rugers circling the outside.

And showing up too late for the shoot (pun intended) was this unfired S&W 29-2

Finally got my pics together, this is Ms. Clementine.
K-38 Combat Masterpiece, pre-Model 15, dated to about 1951.
Yes she was a classic beauty before I put the Hogue grips and an uber-cheap red-dot on her. She's my shooter and I love her.

Smith & Wesson M396, 5 shot L frame in 44 Spl. Titanium Cylinder with a alloy frame. It has a kick. Produced 2000-2005 or so.

Empty the gun weighs 1pd 2.1 ounces (18.2 ounces).
Loaded with 5 rounds of 200 gr. Blazer GDHP 1pd. 5 ounces (21 ounces).

So yeah if you don't start flinchy ya get there quick.

At 8 yards 3 cylinders slow da. The gun bucks and ya feel it. You don't shoot a gun like this to improve your shooting skills.

Is that the original front sight? It looks like it's so much higher than the rear sight.

tipoc,

I make all of my own holsters. I got started making holsters for Civil War re-enactors many years ago.

I just sold the LCR shown in my previous post, since I never used it and replaced it with another GP-100, this one without a scope. Here's a couple more pictures of the GP-100's with holsters.

My absolute favorite handguns,,,

Stella is a S&W Model 15 Combat Masterpiece in .38 Special,,,
Didi is a S&W Model 18 Combat Masterpiece in .22 LR.

StellaDidiWood.jpg

I'm not even sure why I bought those atrocious Pachmayer grips,,,
Perhaps because they were dirt cheap at a small gun show.

When the gubbermint comes to take my guns,,,
These are the two they will never find. :neener:

Velma is a S&W Model 36 in .38 Special,,,
Velda is a S&W Model 34 in .22 LR.

I doubt these will be found either.
