What does anyone else make of this:
I order some PRVI Partizan .222 for my father-in-law the first week of Dec '12. Expected delivery was to be just before Christmas.
I get a follow up e-mail stating that that it is back ordered until 1/28/13 and according to FTC regulations they are required to see if I still want the order. Because of the free shipping coupon and cheap price I reply yes. This is after Sandy Hook. Explain it to the father-in-law at Christmas. He doesn't care. Still has some and they're for his Stevens o/u .222/20g.
Receive another e-mail on the 17th, again due to the FTC. Same question with an expected shipping in April. Once again I reply yes.
Now comes the e-mail on the 18th. Order is shipped!
I have some ammo on back order with Midway since late November, don't they have the same FTC regs to follow? Never got an e-mail from them. Or was Sportsmans Guide trying to get me to cancel my cheap order so they can gouge someone with a new price due to the times?
I've always likes SG, but I'm starting to look at them in a different light.
