Best Depriming Press

I would end with at least the Classic Cast Myself doing the rifle rounds. They can be done on the LNL AP but to me it was such a pain I sold mine. I prefer to do my rifle rounds on a SS & all my handgun on ether my Pro1000 or my Load Master. I'm not really into cleaning brass unless it is polishing the cartridge after I'm done.

My guess is you will be happy with yourself if you go ahead & buy the Classic Cast.

There are these old pliers type recapping hand tools you could use, just hold the device over your trash can while depriming.

Still that little Lee "C" press will do the deed for a lot less money if you have the real estate on your bench top to use it.

Don't most all presses have a system by which to collect spent primer's? I would consider it rather unusual to build a press, that doesn't include such a feature.

All presses I know deprime / resize and perform most all other necessary functions of reloading. You might consider one of RCBS's single stage presses, can't go wrong with the Rock Chucker.

I use the Lee Classic Breechlock for depriming. I also have a Lee hand press I used to deprime with watching TV. Now, I use the Classic BL to do that on one of Lee's portable stands. Dont have a brick to stabilize it, but a 50 cal. ammo box full of 9mm works!

With both my loads, .223 and 9mm, I like to deprime brass and then clean it (and trim the .223). I then do batches of brass sized and primed. I like to store cleaned, sized and primed brass in good quantity. Then as ammo is needed, A Lee Classic Turret Press spits then out plenty quick for my purposes.

I deprime with a progressive press. Stated with a LNL AP, then a Dillon XL650 and now a Super 1050. Just use a shop vac or compressed air to blow out the crud.

Since you use a LNL AP, it is even easier for you since the does are all QD.

If you really want another press to do this, get a Lee single stage. Cheapest way to go. You can always get a Lee progressive.

I use a Lee Single Stage for decapping, a RCBS bench priming tool for priming and then a Lee 4 hole turret press for loading = $275 or so for all three

Wow, the price went up on those Breechlocks. IIRC, they sold for ~$55.00 3 years ago on the Lee website?

Since you said you are willing to spend up to $100 would you be willing to go $7 more? The Lee Cast Iron O-frame press is as strong as you can get. It will last forever and you can use it for loading ammo too, not only decapping.

Is the Lee Reloader sturdy enough for rifle sizing? I feel like Im really giving my LCT a workout when I size 223.

I've never used one but I doubt it. The press can probably do it but with the small base you would need a very sturdy surface to your bench to take the stress over the small area & leverage can't be great.
