I like the WFT, but if you do a lot of calibers it’s going to get expensive. Think I’m going to order the FA case trim and prep center. I have a Lee that I use to trim some low volume straight wall cases.
Found out a local shop close to me had gotten in SPP, first shipment in a long while. I was going to buy a brick....showed up and would only sell 2 sleeves of 100. Glad I was already close by or that would have been a waste.
I held off for a while but ended up starting last year when new ammo was still $160 a case. Originally I was planning on developing some loads in case the ammo got high or scarce. Ended up just buying a bunch in bulk to get the cost down and kept on loading it. Came at a good time because I...
I have the Lite as well. Wasn’t pleased with the tumbling action. Cases came out cleaned but I was having to tumble them a good bit long than people was reporting. I found this on a review somewhere, but I cut a Half shape out of plastic and stuck it in the drum. Works much better. Cut this one...
Local place around me has a pretty good stock. Had a bunch of H1000 2 weeks ago and just about everything they carry was in stock. I picked up a couple 4lb containers of unique for $60 a piece there.
Each caliber has value for sure. I use to never pick up 9mm because I didn’t think I would ever fool with it and just left it for the next guy. Now that I reload it I never find any laying. Which our local public range is hit by people collecting to sell for scrap. Don’t even see rimfire laying...
I’ve never used titegroup, so I can’t comment on that, but have used that bullet with a light load of w231 and mid range load of unique with good results.
I started with 45acp. Learned a lot those first few months and still learn something new all the time. Like others have said, any straight wall pistol will be easier to start with. I’ve read a whole lot more than I post on here, but I’ve learned so much just reading. There is some very smart...
Last UPDATE:
Well couldn’t stand it, went back to the range this morning to try a few other things.
I originally had and angled fore grip on when I sighted it in, but realized the screw was contacting the shroud of the barrel so I removed it to grind down the screws. This hit me last night...
Most of the shrouded barrel makers don’t recommend lead due to the possibility of leading up the shroud. There’s not a good way to be able to clean or get it out. Most use a 1/2” pvc pipe with some notches cut in the end to run down through the shroud to knock anything loose. I’ve not seen...
I got some of my factory jacketed ammo out last night that I stored away a while back. Went to a private range this morning and shot it....definitely better. The barrel is a taccom super feed 16” ULW. It’s a sleeved barrel that only has 5.25” of rifling. It feels great on the gun and I really...
Honestly don’t ever load jacketed bullets in 9mm. Just run them for full power 357mag. Might could round some up and try it out though, but I would hate to think I could dial it in with plated or lead.

I forgot to add but I did shoot 10 rounds of the same bullet sized to .357 instead of the normal .356. No change on that as well. The other gun will shoot either size find.
If for some reason the bore was really tight would that cause accuracy issues for lead? I’m sure I’ve read about...
