    POI difference

I ended up ordering gold dot 75gr soft points. Plan to check reliability and poi once they arrive.

    POI difference

I planned to keep my zero at 50 yards with xm193 for my regular ammo. I mentioned POI difference at 25 yards because I wanted to use 77gr otm as an hd round only, and 25 yards seemed like a good reference point. Furthest actual distance in my house is probably 15 yards.

    POI difference

I plan on testing it if I bought some. Just wanted a general idea of what to expect before buying pricier ammo.

    POI difference

I currently have my 12.5 sbr zero'd for 50 yards with xm193. How much would my poi change if using 77 gr otm within 25 yards?

    Holster for hiking

Linville is awesome, but is rough going up and down. Totally worth it though. Thanks for the help.

    Holster for hiking

Thanks for the info. Im going to either get the kanai chest holster or a hpg rig. What size would you recommend for a few snacks and a g19? Im in NC and sweat a lot on my own, so with the humidity it gets bad, but i deal with it. I usually go to linville gorge and have started scrambling and...

    Holster for hiking

Do the hpg bags cause any sore spots or chaffing with heavy sweating?

    Holster for hiking

Right now the kenai chest holster seems promising, excepy for the price. Then there is the viking tactics chest holster which is only 89, but ugly as sin and a universal nylon. http://www.vikingtactics.com/product-p/vtac-bigrig-auto.htm Not worried about convealment. I mean, my current leg...

    Holster for hiking

I'm looking for some good ideas for a holster while hiking. Im currently using a g code drop down for my glock, but it gets in the way when scrambling on rocks or minor climbing. I'm considering some type of chest holster, but thats a big price tag just to try. Plus, I'm not sure how the straps...

    Sti spartan question

I'm wanting to replace the sights on my spartan with something a little more carry friendly. Does anyone know if xs sights fit the spartan? I was thinking about trying their base model without the tritium to see if I like them before putting them on my glock...

odd way of staking castle nut

This was an sbr build and I didn't want it to be my first assembly job. Its put together now though and I'm happy with the build. Next time I won't use the gunsmith on the way to work, or just do it myself. I put blood in this one though taking my silencerco flash hider off my regular ar that...

odd way of staking castle nut

When I went to pick it up it wasn't staked at all and he said he usually doesn't because it's such a pain to remove. Guess I know why now. He didn't use a vise and at first I thought maybe he was just skilled enough to free hand it. Upon inspection I didn't see any staking and when I asked where...

odd way of staking castle nut

I had a lower put together by a gunsmith and he staked the castle nut by deforming the threads on the buffer tube. Does that work? I staked a different lower myself and never heard of this method before.

    lower parts kit advice

Don't really care for most of the extras on spikes enhanced, just love the trigger. I guess I could get their standard kit without trigger and add their battle trigger and come out under $100. That kit with alg trigger from psa sounds like a better deal if it really is a good trigger and parts...

    lower parts kit advice

I'm building a sbr and am trying to decide between a spikes tactical enhanced parts kit or a psa lower build kit. The psa kit costs less and comes with stock and buffer. So is the ST enhanced kit worth the extra money? Also what buffer would be best for a 12.5 inch barrel suppressed? Thanks.

    41-P Update (of sorts)

I just set my trust up and the lawyer really used this as a selling point. The dealer never said anything about it while I was ordering my silencer.

Waffen Werks ak74 or Century C39

Does the c39 have a proprietary rear sight mount or is it just the sight itself?

Waffen Werks ak74 or Century C39

I'm thinking about selling a pistol and getting either the WW74 or Century c39. Seems most of the reviews on the century are positive, but hearing some negative things about newer waffen werks guns. Not really partial to caliber and won't be shooting surplus ammo. What experience do you guys...
