I have a walther sp-22 m3 and it is a very accurate gun. CDNN has them for pretty cheap. Mags are far from cheap, and some think its ugly as sin, but it fits my hand nice and never jams on me with any ammo.
as far as holes in your birch ply go. I was talking to my grandpa the other day and he was cutting something out on the scroll saw and was raving about that 9 ply Baltic birch from woodcraft. He said it had absolutely no holes in it. He was an engineer and i rarely here him sing praises about...
i see no reason you need an epoxy for gluing those together, plain wood glue is stronger than the wood itself. Now as far as a gun stock goes, i dont know. But every project ive done or seen done used plain old wood glue and you could never tell. I think proper clamping is more imperative.
on their website the have the letter posted and it mentioned a revision without a front grip. so apparently the think you wont grab it by the rails? Who know? I Really like it though. I like most of there stuff, its futuristic looking, and something different.
not sure about the barrels but everything else is interchangeable. 150 for a maverick is a no brainer. Cousin just bought one and loves it. I got to handle it a bit and it was nice, he paid 179 i think. The top isnt drilled and tapped though for a scope mount, not sure if thats an issue.
i bought a nef pardner pump, looks alot like a 870, feels quality and ive never had a problem cycling any rounds through it. They are a 159$ brand new at walmart and other places. Hard to beat that for the price.
fishbed, what i meant was I dont have/ remember the details on the guy who won. im sure the gun store guy does. He wasnt selling me one i already had the gun for over 2 years. I mentioned that i liked it alot and how accurate it was and he chimed in about a guy who won with it at some competition.
