Dennis Miller had a good joke on his special the other night.
Paraphrased:
If we kill all the lawyers as the first step in a revolutions we could get away with it... There wouldn't be adequate legal representation at our trial... :D
Interesting in all the articles about this I've looked at so far, not one describes the crowd as massive.
I've seen reference to a thousand cheering Iraqis comming out onto the streets as the Americans entered Baghdad on that day. But it doesn't say they all congregated on the square near...
I suppose the canadians are in on the conspiracy too...

Of course, video of the crowd trying to bring the statue down by themselves for more than an hour with no success, wasn't as dramatic as the Marines doing it.
Guess the fact that we liberated 150 CHILDREN from an Iraqi jail doesn't hold any sway with these people...
:fire:
We should hold these "peace" protestors accountable by sending them to Iraq to witness the tyrany Saddam created for themselves.
Blix: Iraq Still Not Cooperating Fully

Isn't the whole point of the exercise to disarm Iraq of chemical and bio weapons.
If Iraq can be shown to still have weapons, have the means to produce the weapons, and has no desire to disarm, isn't...
This is hardly new news or evidence...
and why would Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz want to attack Iraq (which Clinton did in 1998 although only with air weapons...)
Because they believed
And as far as I know, the administration isn't making any claim that Iraq was connected to 9/11, only...
Wonder what they really mean??
There will NOT be any MASS arrests...
maybe in other words...
We will arrest, try, convict and deport, if neccessary, people on an individual basis with due process for each.
Of course, the Ready.gov site isn't about preventing terrorism, so much as it is preparing our fellow citizens for the possible effects of a terrorist attack.
Now firearms may have a place there, if looting and rioting were to occur, but that's not something I see the government telling the...
I think what these guys did is a interesting way of communicating the
that some of the views "peace" protestors hold...
Now, if we can come up with some catchy anti-gun control slogans for any gun control rallies...
There's been some healthy debate on Frugal Squirrels over some of the items in this article...

Tamara - not sure where you got that impression from...
Sounds like advice I've often heard on this forum and thefiringline, ie. what gun should I get? What do you want it for? What can you handle? What experience do you have? etc...
Mike is a good honest guy and I've yet to be...
Yep, Don or any of his store staff would be the last people in the world I would want to teach me about gun handling. When I was still going to his range on the north side (no closed) it felt dangerous just walking into the place.
You might check into your states "State Guard". This would be an organized state militia under the direction of the governor.

Bought my P32 last Wed and put almost 200 rounds through it on Friday.
Only 3 failures to eject, all on the 2nd to the last round in the magazine.
Once I got used to the sights, I was putting all the shots in the 9 and 10 rings at 7 yards. Had at least one 3 inch group at that range...
If New York City did cecede would the rest of the Union have to accept it into the United States as another state??
Would it be automatic or would there need to be a vote (and who votes on it?)
