I've had a few disappointments but the biggest was a Kimber Ultra Raptor. I sold a really nice Mesa Boogie guitar amp to buy this gun and it just would not feed hollow points no matter what I tried. I sold it at a loss, bought a Glock 19 and never looked back.
Other failures were a Glock 30...
Of the handguns I have owned or own now;
Favorite tool: Glock 19
Favorite art: S&W 686
Least favorite: Rohm 22 revolver. POS disintegrated shooting 22 shorts.
Biggest Disappointment: Kimber Ultra. Wanted to love it but it wasn't worthy.
Which FA scale are you using?
The Micro is pure crap. As the battery voltage drops it will read farther and farther wrong and it has no voltage indicator:
The DS-750 is pretty good and comes with a check weight:
Look up some videos - the trigger group is really easy to remove/replace. It stays a single unit and there's no need to detail strip it. Don't let the pins intimidate you, they are designed for it.
But most importantly to your question, the 870 trigger group is of a similar design and...
and typically the prohibitions are broad and vague while the exceptions are very specific.
Unlawful to carry any form of firearm (broad)
Unless: you have a license to carry and it's a handgun and it's for personal protection and you don't do anything ilegal with it. (specific)
Taking your gun into the can is not extreme - leaving it unattended while you dump would be irresponsible.
My extreme gun behaviors are:
I have a dress gun, meaning one that I wear with a suit.
There are places that I WILL NOT go because I cannot (legally) go there armed.
I refuse to do...
What about when he arrives on campus? I know it's currently illegal in my state to have a gun on campus PERIOD - locked up or not (that changes soon) so it's worth checking that out for Kali.
I keep an up-to-date inventory of my firearm collection. It includes everything I know about each gun and how much I think it's worth.
And yes, I know how many I currently own without looking but I'd have a VERY hard time telling you what they all are.
I bought one way before the latest threat was realized. I knew it was coming in some form or another and it would drive prices up. I bought because I wanted a rifle. Pissing off a liberal is just a side benefit.
New to reloading + accuracy issues tells me to examine your crimp. It's pretty common for new loaders to over-crimp semi-auto rounds which can deform your bullet and seriously degrade accuracy.
I avoid these two brands because I have had fail-to-fire issues in the past:
Remington Golden Bullet 22LR
Federal Hydrashock 9mm
and I avoid any hand loads I didn't make myself.
Sounds to me as if the shoulder of the depriming pin is bottoming out in the case. If that's so and it is NOT happening with other headstamps then you should cull the .FC. cases as they have a smaller capacity which may result in higher pressures when firing.
It might just serve to keep the UN continuing to do talk much and do nothing instead of giving them something to be pissed off about in unison. Learn something from the Arabs... smile, tell them what they want to hear, and then do whatever the hell we want to.
Get the LCT 4-hole press, NOT the deluxe or the 3-hole. You won't be disappointed and they sell fast on the used market if you decide to upgrade.
Buy some extra nylon squares as they break easy. But if you keep some oil on the index bar and don't try to turn the turret with the ram down...
The last two generations have grown up exposed to media and movies saturated with these lies:
- guns cause violence
- only cops and criminals have guns
- anyone who stands up to criminals is a vigilante
- the police are there to protect you
- all guns are registered
- a man with a gun is up to...
Of course, as long as it's voluntary.
I would never approach the PD with this offer but if I knew someone personally I'd definitely be willing to share.
