Picked a nice one up at the HGCA show in the NRG center in Houston for $300 yesterday. I have seen them much cheaper at pawnshops in the past, but never got one. I figured I might as well go ahead and get one before they got any higher and I ain't getting any younger. It makes a nice little...
I picked this up at the George Brown Show in Houston recently.
Crosman single action .22 caliber with a full, original tin of period correct pellets. (pells) :) Couldn't pass it up since I got one for Christmas in 1961 when I was nine.
Ordered orings off of Ebay, but they were incorrect. Does...
After reading your replies, I noticed the extraction ring described, kind of backwards as opposed to a modern revolver where the cylinder is static and the extractor star is pushed away from the cylinder face.
Thank you gentlemen for your explanation and kind words.
I recently obtained this original looking piece and just fired a round of .32 S&W in it today.
For those that are familiar with these neat little guns, after I broke it down to expell the spent casing, it was out of the cylinder, up against the recoil shield like I suppose it is supposed to be...

You are a much appreciated fountain of knowledge that I see on other forums and you are to be commended for donating so much of your time to answer questions in a way that could only come from a very experienced expert in the gun field.
Merry Christmas. :)
A poster on another forum claims the Ithaca model 37 is no longer used by the military or police because of a history of being unreliable. He also claims that is why one no longer sees them in duck blinds (including the mag 10).
This flies in the face of everything I have ever heard about...
couldn't help but notice you two guys have the same amount of posts, posted exactly 1 hour apart, and joined within 2 days of each other.
small world. :)
i have heard some were single action only.
mine spins the cylinder in double action but doesn't cock the hammer and fire.
is mine broken, weird, or just a nagant? :)
these measure about 31/8" tall and 13/8" wide.
the seller at the gunshow didn't know what they fit.
looks to be locating pins above and below the screw holes.
what do they fit? when i find out, i may have to find and buy one. :)
thanks in advance!
the most inexpensive 9mm i own is a star model bm.
rock solid gun and 1911 ergos. it has an external safety, something i find sadly lacking on the glocks.
probably around $300 nowadays.
