    .44 and 10mm

    ^^^ That was my first thought. I've got Glock 20SF & 29SF pistols, a S&W 1076, and a Dan Wesson Pointman 7 and they're all great pistols.

New Winchester 1873 - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

I know this is an old thread but what was the story on your 1873? (I've searched but haven't found the answer.) I just picked mine up earlier this week but (thanks to work) I haven't made it to the range yet. Thanks

Colt 6720 vs 6920 as only AR

I bought a 6720 for (LE) work and it sure seems handier... maybe it's how the weight is distributed? Anyway, I figure the heavier barrel is designed for FA fire and all my carbines are SA so I really don't see a downside to the pencil barrel (other than the CDI Factor of the M4 barrel:eek:).

    Red dots?

Another vote for the Aimpoint PRO. I've got a couple of them and I bought them both on sale (so I gave well under $400). Buy quality and you only cry once (and only a rich guy can afford to buy it twice).

The last couple Colts I bought (AR6720 & LE6920) came from the factory with FA BCGs.

    Marlin 1894c Identification

I stand corrected... I saw some new Marlins (Remlins?) with a "RM" prefix to the serial number at my dealer the other day. They did have a new 336 in .30-30 with a "91" prefix that came home with me though.

    Marlin 1894c Identification

FWIW, on modern Marlin lever action rifles you subtract the first two digits of the serial number from 100 to get the year of manufacture.
