I don't find shooting handguns at the same piece of paper necessarily fun or productive. I find moving with the gun and shooting at different targets is fun, and exposes weaknesses in technique not found if you're just punching paper.

In my opinion, from this type of rifle, it should be 5.56 and 7.62x39. AR for one, AK for the other. Russian military doesn't agree apparently. I like AR's the most, to the point I never used my 5.45 ak, but the 7.62x39 punches through stuff the 5.56 cannot.

PSA makes good lowers, but I don't like their rollmark. Find a lower with a rollmark you like and you know to be quality, for me usually spikes. It's hard to give you a price because it can vary from 150 to 1k depending. I got a psa complete blem lower with a ctr on it for 170 about a year ago...

I have had at least 6 in the last few years. I now carry a springfield xds9, I find that for me it handles like a gun bigger than it is and I shoot it well. The shield is another good contender, but I didn't shoot it as well. I also have a 380 smith bodyguard I like for it's size. Avoid keltec.

Dan wessons are nice, certainly. The problem to me is that they are just too expensive. i agree with the guy who said smith for looks, ruger for durability, and dan for both. I don't however, think most dan wessons look as good as most smiths, and for the price if you just need a nice revolver...

i like the 300wsm, it has a lot of power and a short action. Not as powerful as the .300 but you may not need it to be. I have a tikka t3 in 300wsm and I love it.

Thanks for all the responses. The choke is a turkey choke but the barrel has swirls in it, im assuming all the lines are rifling. I have 3 smoothbore sgs that don't have it. im not just looking at the choke threading. I've never seen something like this.
