I don't see a need to vacuum seal, but sealing in heavy plastic and just removing enough air to flatten it out would make it easier to pack for camping etc.
Picked up my CZ457 Precision Varmint from my guy. Waiting for the 11mm dovetail to Pic rail adapter from Area419 so I can mount a scope and go try it out. Also picked up three extra magazines. They are all 5 round, so looking for larger capacity magazines.
Brass Magnet
I bought one of these many years ago. It does work. The edges are weighted so it does not lift in the wind. And as it's mesh any dirt or sand falls right through.
I suspect it's the same netting used to cover dump truck loads.
I have FF3 on two of my 22 pistols. One is a Mk4 22/45 Lite. It's mounted on an Outer Impact plate that allows the sight to be as low as possible. The other is a S&W Victory with the same mount. Both are 8MOA and mostly used for shooting steel at moderate ranges.
A fellow at my local range has a complete set. Bowling ball, Billiard ball, and Golf ball. The Billiard ball model also shoots soda cans.
Lots of fun. The whistle from the bowling ball finger holes is really cool to hear. Maybe we should drill extra holes of varying diameters and depths. Maybe...
This is the set of Ghost Stryke ears I received yesterday. Got what I suppose is a deal @ $200 for 2 sets. They've got Bluetooth which I don't plan to use at this point.
I used them some today while evaluating prospective members at my club. They shot AR and bolt rifles in 223 and 270 as well...
I've had a set of Nitro Ears for a few years and they work very well. In ear hearing aid style . The maker did a hearing test and incorporated a little hi frequency boost. They are not cheap at $1100. I almost lost them once and was quite upset but they were found.
I have a set of Iso Tunes...
My M&P CORE has the sear lever and I sometimes use it. It's a little hard to reach without a screwdriver or pick. But I can see it's usefulness as an additional effort at safety. My XDm had a similar system, but I was replacing some parts and forgot to reinstall the part. Still haven't done so.:(
Just ordered another Pocket Locker for my P365. My original one did not have the "tab" for pushing the holster off while still in your pocket. The one I'd bought for my P938 did. The tab on my P938 holster is bent off to the side, but apparently the newer design just leaves more Kydex protruding...
Missouri within 50 miles of either St. Louis or Kansas City is pretty good. I spent 44 years working in the Aerospace industry and live in Warren County which straddles the I-70 corridor.
There are banks, agri-chemical and government entities located in the St. Louis area. The National...
I'd bought one of those a while back with adapters for several of my 22 pistols. When I bought a M&P 22 Compact I inquired and found they had no adapter because that didn't have a magazine for a model.
I sent them a magazine to use and two weeks later I had my magazine back along with the...
I've got Vedder Pocket Lockers for my 365 and P938. Very happy with their products.
Last year I wanted their Light Tuck for my 365 so I could use it at a match. Called them on a Monday and had the product in hand on Friday.
Good service for sure.
I appreciate all the information. I knew the answers would be found here and was not disappointed.
I'll pass the information along to the current owner's Dad.
Thanks again.
I managed to find some google images and it could be a 1905 or 1907 model. They all look a lot alike to me. I don't know if there are any markings for caliber etc.
