Well, got the parts changed out and it works like a charm. The replacement front sight caused me shooting 5" high @ 10yds, so I went back to the stock and its fine. Feeding and extraction are pretty smooth so far. Pretty happy for a $100 rifle. I'll look into those stamps when I get a chance.
