I had the same problem with my 10 round Bushmaster mag. USGI, Thermolds and Orlites work fine. The 10 round Bushy mag made an excellent target though.

! You're supposed to clean them? I have a Marlin model 60 that tells me when it's time. As soon as it stops extracting, I clean it. Clean the action with CLP and run a bore snake with CLP through the bore a couple times and VOILA! New rifle again.

Depends on what kind of range you're looking for. There's one out past Yukon, just south of I-40. It's an outdoor range, and not much for looks. It's got a cover over the shooting benchs with seperate pistol and rifle range. $6 for as long as you wanna shoot. Sometimes it's on the honor system...

Definitely an AR! Everyone needs at least 1 AR. Anytime I go shooting, it goes with me regardless of what else I take. I'm now debating on another AR, or a bolt action .308. I'm leaning towards the AR. That's after I sell my Marlin .357 Cowboy. Too many guns, too little cash.

Ditto, I've never had a problem with either Thremolds or Orlites in my Bushmaster. I have had to "bump" the Thermolds a bit occassionally to get them to lock in, but no biggie. I use them mostly for range shooting, and save my USGI's for a rainy day.
