Hornady LnL AP case feeder - cases tipping

Depdog, I think your right. The shell plate can't timed better as far as I can tell. I loosened the top nut on the cam wire ~1/2 a turn and saw an immediate improvement. We'll see if it holds. Thanks! Jim

Hornady LnL AP case feeder - cases tipping

Is this the same issue? The video shows the famous tipping brass problem. Head scratcher for me thats for sure. Watch the last one closely were I'm cyclying the handle SLOW. It looks like the brass comes in contact with the edge of the shell holder and begins to tip it. Jim

So where do I get what I want?

Gave my gunsmith a lower and a check. Being new to the AR world I needed to employ an expert. The whole shopping for parts thing was annoying at best. For $800 (plus the cost of the lower) I get what I want from one of the most respected shops in the USA. Pain in the ass to waiting another 4...

    DPMS 5.56 Sportical for $1000 - Should I Buy?

That's way high for a Sportical imo. Buy a striped lower. Find a good recommended gunsmith locally. Cut him a deposit check and get a better gun built for the same money or less.

What kind of events can/should I compete in?

Attend all you can. I'm not one to recommend the "just jump in" shoot what you got. The VAST majority of negative experiences new shooters have with gun games is due to lack of preparation.
