    Dream guns that don't exist...

Id like a 4" top break .45ACP revolver that auto ejects when empty. not because I dont like my auto, but because it would be neat. Also, a Lancer Because chainsaws are also fun, though not a handgun..

    How do you carry?

snubby in leather holster between belt and pants strong side. Barrel/holster fits into change pocket, and covered by untucked polo wearing jeans. Would forget it was there if I didnt carry my keys in the same pocket. For cooler weather when a jacket is permitted or clothing that permits larger...

What's the smallest pistol you'd trust?

9mm or .38+p/.357 in a snub. The bruised hands after practice are worth it even in the unlikely event i ever have to use it. .357 in a 12oz frame feels like a cannon.

    Mossberg M9200A1 -Looking for info-

I recently acquired a Mossberg M9200A1, and I am looking for more info on it (like, anything). I picked it up for home def, and am using #4 buck in it at the moment. This is also my first shotgun, and I am just trying to get any leads on good info. I have found the mossberg collectors website...

    Beretta .32 Tomcat

The firing pin on my Tomcat fell out (broken) in less than a week and under 100 rounds of use. The gun shop sent it to Beretta and it was repaired for free obviously, but it did shake my confidence in it and cause me to go trade it in toward a S&W M&P360. I liked the gun as far as comfort, for...

Can't decide between Tomcat, Guardian or LWS32

I had a tomcat and eventually ended up getting rid of it after its firing pin fell out in my pocket. It was fun to shoot and relatively comfortable in a large hand for such a small gun but I dont have much confidence in them. Beretta did repair it (btw this happened within 2 weeks of purchase...

    S&W M&P 360 questions

I have a 360, and the thread mentioned does contain a lot of info. I actually carry it in an IWB holster between my belt and my jeans, it actually is largely covered by the belt, and the end of the barrel tucks into the change pocket of my jeans, it actually conceals it very well, quite...

Gosh, I hate to ask the question (Glock vs XD)

There is an XD.45 compact. 4" barrel and chopped handle. Quite comfortable to shoot and still has all the features of the XD. I have no trouble concealing one at all.

    Biggest handgun disappointment.

Beretta Tomcat .32. I wanted to like the little pocket auto, but having to send it back to factory within 1 week for a firing pin that fell out of the gun at the range broke my confidence in it entirely, traded it in toward a S&W M&P 360 snubby .357 when it got home from factory. That was one...

Need help in wheighing pros and cons and CZ PCR/Compact D vs. Springfield Armory XD9

I do not have any experience with the PCR, however I have fired XD9SC models many times and I find that the recoil is quite light, capacity is quite acceptable, and I personally have great experience with it with regards to accuracy. If I had not gone with an XD .45 (which I did) I would have...

Went shopping for a "pocketable" pistol trying to do not break the bank..suggestions?

If youre willing to look at .32 take a look at the Beretta Tomcat (3032). neat little gun, comfortable to fire and easily pocketable.

Looking for a decent, no-frills sword

I own a Hanwei (paul chen) practical pro katana, and its great. In retrospect I probably should have gone with a Practical Plus II, its a little bit shorter, but theyre both good, inexpensive, no frills functional weapons. if youre spending <$100 on a sword (and many times up to $150) youre not...

    What gun for pirates?

I think a metal storm system would make a viable option, having no moving parts aside from the bullets themselves, theyd be easy to hide from the public eye or within some decoration. These systems arent in use anywhere to my knowledge yet but I would think that this type of thing might be an...

    General consensus of Cold Steel?

The link in my post is to the 10200 ambush, and I can say that it feels great, very comfortable to use. Plastic/polymer grips. Very comfortable, not too thick, not too thin.

    The Club Poll!

ASP baton is great fun. Also partial to the hardwood bokken, its just not pocket sized.

    General consensus of Cold Steel?

I recently purchased a Benchmade Ambush. Finest knife I have ever owned, very happy with it, opens easily and smoothly with one hand, closes just as easily one handed. Thoroughly pleased with the purchase, and can be found for ~$70-$80...

newbie question: is XD .45 acp same or better than glock?

I had a little problem with my XD 45 failing to feed, but it was easily remedied by cleaning the magazines. After that it resumed its otherwise flawless record in my hands. It is my daily carry pistol (4" stainless XD45 service) and I have every confidence in its function. I also own a Glock 19...
