    any 10mm or .40 barrels..

I really think you need to provide more information to properly answer your question. Make, model, & S/N range as there are differences during the model range.

How expensive is your carry gun?

Yeah the purchase package for this one usually includes a diamond ring and other goodies. Referring to lady with the gun. My EDC is a Sig P239 which is box stock except for Crimson Trace Laser Sight. Tucker IWB holster. Total about $1K

    Slomo videos, Glock 17 Gen4 and CZ-75B

I'm sure a more consistent grip of an experienced shooter will lend itself to better video and a more accurate comparison between the two pistols. Nice videos, bye the way.

Long eye relief or standard scope

I'd like some comments about the pros and cons of a forward mounted long eye relief scope position (ala scout rifle) versus a normally mounted scope and standard eye relief. I'm trying to decide if I want a scout style rifle or a conventional rifle either semi-auto or bolt. Thanks. Red

I was thinking, is .357 Sig a good carry?

The OP asked: " I was wondering, what is a good .357 Sig gun to use and the best ammo I can find on the market without cleaning out my bank account." My personal opinion on this topic is a P239 for concealed carry and a P229 for duty use. Both accept either a .357Sig barrel and mags or a .40...

As always, there are many differing opinions expressed here. Thanks. Red

    Why use +P ammo?

I've often wondered why some folks seek to use +P ammo in a self-defense concealed carry weapon. Won't a .38 special grievously injure an opponent? How about 9mm? Or what about .45ACP, and on and on? I'm sure that there is someone out there trying to figure out to CC a 500 S&W. There seems...

    best quick access handgun safe

Also take a look at vertical mount safes. Here is a video that describes a vertical mount safe toward the end of the video. I have one and mounted it between the bed and the nightstand. Less visible if you have a picky spouse (I don't0 and it doesn't stand out and scream "Gun Safe." Click on the...

    Holster for a Taurus 627

Hi, I have a Taurus 627 Tracker in .357 with a 4" barrel. I'm looking for an OWB holster, preferably in Kydex or other synthetic material as a woods set-up. Anyone know who makes one as a standard item? I can have a custom rig made but would like to keep the costs in check. TIA Red

    One in the chamber

Interesting side note Here in Washington a weapon is considered LOADED regardless if the chamber is loaded or not; IF, the magazine is inserted in the weapon and it contains ammo.

What is the best 12 Gauge shotgun slug to stop a vehicle?

Atomic Canon At the end of WWII and on into the '50s they experimented with and built what was called the Atomic Canon. It was cumbersome, but I'm sure it would stop a car with a single shot. Collateral damage was extensive of course.
