This is a known issue with some of the S&W AR models that are out of spec. In some cases they have offered to modify the firearm for owners that want to use them, but the rifle likely is the issue, not the mags. Do some googling, you'll find more.

Tepin, You might take a look at Noveske Rifle Works. They have some pretty top notch AR-style .308's that have seen some proving time in Afghanistan with U.S. Forces. Noveske makes top notch stuff.

The Cory Maye thing comes to mind. SWAT went to wrong address, raided, and cop got shot and killed. Seems like the cops got it wrong but Cory Maye is serving life (his original death sentence has been overturned)

Golddog, I have not noticed this. I train with the squeezer just like I train on a 1911 safety. On target, safety off. Low or out, safety on. I index my finger high up on the slide with either pistol (or any pistol for that matter), so even in that situation it's kind of moot.
