    Chromed Victory info? 38 S&W Special CTG 4" square/Checkered S&W Medallion 6 shot fixed V2414## With ordnance symbol before it I know that this is a Victory 38, but it's chromed, any info you can provide will be appreciated. It was my Grandfathers.

    Yeah the removing the lettering would happen if you strip the nickle off wouldn't it?:uhoh: But back to my original question can I just degrease it and blue it?

    Victory 38 lanyard swivel?

    The swivel hole was filled and filed smooth, how do I restore it back to using a swivel. Numrich sells replacement swivels, but it's not threaded so my next question is how do you install them?

    :confused: Anyone from Alabama who can help me out here? I was told that even just to carry my pistol to the range, locked in the trunk and unloaded, would require me to have a concealed carry permit, is this for real?
