    Best inexpensive .308 soft point?

Thanks! Any thoughts on Igman? I ran into a deal: 150gr sp, reloadable for $8.95 in boxes of 20.

    Best inexpensive .308 soft point?

What is the general opinion on the best inexpensive 308 sp out there right now? I see plenty of Federal Power-Shok for $12/box in both 150 & 180 grain loads, but is there something better?

You own the Company: What to produce?

For my "not in your wildest dreams" entry: how about a modern "double action" "top break" version of the "LeMat" done up in stainless? A central 20ga tube surrounded by a moon clip full of 10 rds or so of 357mag sounds just about right. For my "reality finally arrives" entry: how about a...

That, along with just how tough that bullet is will determine it's suitability for my intended purpose (which is defense against two legged predators). Unless it doesn't move out of a rifle much...

    Fiocchi 148gr .357 in a rifle

I have a .357 rifle that I think may be ideal for home and urban protection. After reading about the Fiocchi 148gr SJHP rounds, I wonder if they might be just the perfect round for this purpose. It's rated for 1500fps out of a pistol, so it must be screaming out of a rifle. I doubt the bullet...

Thinking about getting a Blaser R93

Strange, maybe my R93 is different... I own an "original" R93 (prior to SIG ownership) with three different calibers, and I can say I noticed a small decline in quality once ownership changed hands possibly due to the increase in production. However, I have nothing but praise for mine. You may...
